• This Week on coldplaysucks: Sep 27 - Oct 4

Forty tracks in seven days. House, DnB and dubstep split the bill almost evenly, which never happens, and somehow none of the three genres blinked first. If you fell behind this week, start with the chart and work down.

    The Charts

    1. Isam Hadjih feat. Ormella - In My Dreams: climbed to the top after three weeks on the board, nudging Summer Jam aside. Listen →
    2. TLM feat. Merely - Summer Jam: held the crown for weeks, now sliding to second. Still the track people keep coming back to. Listen →
    3. Seven Lions & Kill The Noise - I Need: locked at three for another week, going nowhere. Listen →
    4. Rudimental, Original Koffee & Winny - Send Shots: the surge of the month, tearing up the board from the bottom half. Listen →
    5. Born On Road & P Money - Bristol Style: still climbing after a full month. Listen →
    6. Joker - SETI: creeping upward, week two. Listen →
    7. SKALAH, Riko Dan - Thriller in Manila: new on the chart. Listen →
    8. Da Hool - Meet Her at the Loveparade (Hex Cougar Remix): new on the chart, because apparently Loveparade never dies. Listen →
    9. Dimension & Subsonic - Ghost Town: cooling hard, dropped from the top five. Listen →

Knocked off this month: Blanke, EDDIE & Nevve - Entropy, Skrillex - Bangarang (BRLLNT Edit), 501 - The Final Cut (Chime Remix).

    Track of the Week

TLM feat. Merely - Summer Jam

Four weeks and this thing will not quit. It slipped on the monthly board but it is still the track people come back to first, week after week. The hook is stuck in the collective skull, the production is tight without being fussy, and everything that arrived louder has already left. Listen →

    The New Drops

House (11 posts): House owned the week. Mele dropped two afro-house cuts on the same day and both landed. The GRiZ remix of John Summit turned a tech house tool into a greasy funk record, Oden & Fatzo played a live session that sounded like an actual room full of humans, and Raphi showed up twice because apparently once per week is beneath him. Blake Farfan and DRAMA x Sultan + Shepard brought the melodic side.

Drum and Bass (9 posts): DnB ate almost as well. BOP appeared twice (with Degs and Logistics), Nu:Logic delivered the most gorgeous liquid track I have heard in weeks, and Burr Oak teamed with Pythius and REEBZ for neurofunk that made me flinch on first listen. Netsky went full daytime-radio liquid with Hannah Boleyn. If you only click one, make it Nu:Logic.

Dubstep (9 posts): The range this week was absurd. Bluff and Formula held down the deep, patient UK end. Excision and Space Laces built something so heavy it circles back around to comedy. DPRTNDRP brought riddim, Tape B brought pressure, and SLANDER went melodic with Nejvex. Every wing of the genre showed up.

Big Room / Dance (5 posts): Jason Derulo is still making records, which is a thing that is happening. Silver Bullet and Borgeous kept the main-room lights on. Raphi’s Head Spin was the most fun of the bunch.

    Also Banged This Week

    • Nu:Logic - Ukiyo (ft. Thavy Ear): weightless liquid with a vocal you forget the words to because the texture is the whole point. Listen →
    • Excision & Space Laces - True Killers: so heavy it loops back around to funny, and somehow that makes it better. Listen →
    • Mele - Another Tomorrow: afro house for the rooftop, the kind of record that makes being inside feel like a personal failure. Listen →
    • Formula - Too Deep: deep dubstep built on patience and a single sub bass note. Bring a subwoofer. Listen →
    • John Summit - Don’t Believe It (GRiZ Remix): funk bass and a horn stab where a tech house tool used to be. Two dancefloors, one track. Listen →

Forty posts, three genres in a dead heat, and a Loveparade remix on the chart in 2026. See you next week. Coldplay still sucks.

3 minutes. About one Coldplay 'oooh-ooh-oh' chorus minus the regret.
