Stick with this one past the pretty intro, because the drop is where Dimensions turns genuinely interesting. It opens like standard melodic big-room, all glassy piano and a Josh Le Tissier vocal reaching for the rafters, and then the drop pulls back into a half-time groove instead of the four-on-the-floor stomp the build kept promising. That single switch is the whole track. Le Tissier’s voice has real grain to it, none of that anonymous topline-factory smoothness, and it stays fully intact through the drop, no confetti-chop in sight. Dirty Signal keep the low end heavier than the melodic packaging suggests, which is what stops the whole thing from floating off into wallpaper. There’s a passage in the second half where a vocal chop and a sub-bass fall into a call and response that I’ve had lodged in my head all afternoon. It’s emotional festival music with an actual spine, and that half-time turn is going to catch a lot of people pleasantly off guard.
