Stuck in my head for two days on a single listen, which is either a great sign or a minor medical concern. “Rocking” is a lean festival weapon from Dirty Signal and 2ACES, built around a chant vocal and a bassline that bounces like it’s on a trampoline. Where a lot of big-room gets bogged down stacking enormous melodic builds, this one just wants to punch you in the chest on a loop and let you enjoy it. The drop is all rhythm and low end, a simple call-and-response between the vocal shout and one fat synth stab, and the simplicity is precisely the strength. There’s a beat switch in the back half that flips the groove sideways and had me rewinding to work out what actually happened. This is body music, aimed at the exact second a crowd loses its collective mind. I put it on walking to the shop and caught myself power-walking by the second drop. Cheap thrill, expensively made.
