If MrSuicideSheep put it out, you can usually guess the temperature before you press play, and Memories sits right in that bittersweet melodic pocket the channel built its whole identity on. WinWel works with soft, glassy synths and a vocal cut into little sighing fragments, the words barely there, more feeling than sentence. It’s future-bass adjacent without the genre’s worst habit of exploding into a wall of detuned saws at every drop. Instead the lead is almost shy, a plucked melody circling the same four notes, letting the space around them do the emotional work. There’s a warmth to the low end that keeps it from floating off entirely, a soft bass pulse anchoring all that prettiness to the ground. It’s bedroom music, headphone music, the sound of staring at a ceiling at 1am feeling a manageable amount of sad. I don’t always want music that just sits with me instead of demanding anything, and tonight that was the whole appeal.

Melé & Bontan & K.O.G - Adesa
Oct 2026 —
Pressed play on Melé, Bontan and K.O.G's Adesa half by accident and eight bars later the room felt ten degrees warmer. Afro house with real heat.
