Bibriso is a nonsense word and a completely sensible dance record. That is a very Raphi move, slapping an invented title on a track and letting the groove explain itself. Where Who Told You? chases a big vocal hook, this one is more of a DJ tool, built for the floor rather than the radio, riding a rubbery bassline and a chant that works precisely because it means nothing. You cannot overthink a word that is not a word, so you just move to it. The UK producer has been on a genuine run through Spinnin’ lately, and what I like about Bibriso is that it shows a slightly less polished, more club-minded side of her than the big singles do. It is repetitive in the way good functional house is repetitive, locking into a loop and trusting it to hold you. Not much to say about it, honestly, beyond that it works, and sometimes a track that just works at 2am is worth more than a clever one that doesn’t. It lands firmly under tools, not anthems, and it earns that spot.
