Inéz’s vocal gets chopped and pitched and rearranged like luggage on a budget airline and somehow it still makes emotional sense. Luude’s whole move is taking drum and bass to stadiums and festival mainstages and making it work without sanding the edges off. The bassline is wobbly in a way that’s clearly designed for a crowd to lose their minds to, and then the vocal comes back in clean for the chorus and it hits different after being dismembered for two minutes.
