Big, dumb, and completely irresistible. “In My Heart” is the kind of hands-in-the-air dance record I have zero defenses against. It runs on a piano riff that could power a small town and a vocal hook clearly engineered in a lab to be stuck in your head by lunchtime. Three names on it, all obviously on the same mission: maximum serotonin, minimum fuss. The drop is pure sunshine, the sort of thing that would sound faintly ridiculous in a dark room and absolutely perfect at a festival at golden hour. There’s a breakdown where the piano goes solo for a few bars, just long enough to make you miss the beat before it crashes back in twice as bright. I put it on walking to the shop and caught myself grinning at nothing in particular, then played it again on the walk home. It made me feel eighteen and invincible for about three minutes, which is worth more than most things that cost actual money. If the piano-house revival keeps turning out stuff this shameless, I’m fully on board.
