Does anyone actually cop to loving NCS tracks, or do we all just hoard three hundred of them in gaming playlists and say nothing? “Action” is the kind that makes the case for the label: a clean, punchy vocal electronic tune with Alessia Labate belting a hook big enough to fill the room she’s clearly picturing. Conrad Taylor keeps the production tidy and bright, no clutter, all runway for the voice. And the hook does its damage — it’s the sort of melody that ambushes you mid-meeting two days later with zero warning. I’ll be straight that the drop itself runs a little generic, a supersaw stab you’ve heard on a hundred other records, and the whole track leans hard on Labate to carry it. Good news is she can, easily. This is montage-edit fuel for teenagers with a video project due, and it happens to be very good montage-edit fuel. Sometimes a monster hook with somewhere to put it is the entire assignment.

Conrad Taylor, Alessia Labate - Action
1 minute. Shorter than the average Coldplay intro. Mercifully.
