Caught this on shuffle at the gym and had to check what it was mid-set. “In Motion” by L3VI is exactly what the title promises, driving, forward-tilted electronic music that feels like acceleration. Another NCS release, leaning into the label’s brighter, more anthemic side: a soaring lead, a four-on-the-floor pulse, and a drop that opens into pure momentum. There’s a plucked arp running underneath that keeps the whole thing from ever sitting still, plus a vocal chop used sparingly, more rhythm than hook. The second half stacks a counter-melody over the first, and that small bit of extra lift is what turned it from filler into something I actually saved. The mix is bright to the point of being almost too much on cheap earbuds, which tells you exactly what system it was built for. My review is embarrassingly simple: it made a brutal set of squats feel ten percent easier, which is a real and measurable value most “serious” music can’t claim. L3VI clearly makes this stuff to move bodies, and mine moved. Good enough for me.
