One of those mid-2010s posts where the embed has long since rotted off the internet but the title gives you enough to fill in the blanks. Facial animation was having a moment around 2013 — this is right in the window where everyone was sharing those uncanny-valley demos of mocap rigs trying to do convincing human expressions and mostly producing nightmare fuel instead. Half the joy was watching the tech almost get there. The other half was sending the clip to a friend at 2am with no context and waiting for them to ask what they had just watched.
