• Tiffany Day, slayr - CONSTANTLY (Yonexx Remix)

Did not expect to get got by a melodic-trap remix on a Tuesday, yet here we are. CONSTANTLY started life as a Tiffany Day and slayr vocal cut, all raw longing and bedroom-pop fragility, and Yonexx has rebuilt it into something that hits like a wave without drowning the voice that made it worth remixing in the first place. That is the trap this subgenre usually falls into, burying a good vocal under so much bass that the feeling gets lost somewhere around the first drop. Yonexx resists it. Day’s voice stays front and centre, the drop blooming around it with pitched vocal chops and a low end that rolls rather than stomps. It is emo energy routed through festival-sized production, the kind of thing that would have soundtracked a very specific phase of my late twenties. There is a catch in Day’s delivery on the hook that the remix is smart enough to leave completely alone. Plays better loud than it has any right to.

1 minute. You read this in less time than Chris Martin says 'thank you, beautiful crowd'.

    MatricK - Loneliness
Oct 2026 — How many dance tracks called Loneliness does the world need? One more, apparently, because MatricK's big room take beats the rest of them.
