  • Speed Test: High Speed Engaged!

    Well after weeks of waiting my speed upgrade has finally kicked in! I had originally set up the service through TekSavvy during the last week of August. After a few false starts they realized Rogers never activated the service. After hours on the phone I also found out that the first visit from Rogers tech support was cancelled and ignored by them. Finally now, the service just kicked in. A few hours later the Rogers technician calls for a visit. You can't write comedy this good . . .

  • Internet Upgrade

    I should be getting the Ableton Push delivered today and probably only 2 or 3 more days until I get a visit from someone to upgrade the net here. It seems like this upgrade has taken almost 2 years to get here before I first heard of this speed being offered as an upgrade in this area for Rogers customers. It seems like they rolled out higher speeds to Rogers customers a while back. The good news is that on the competition the plan I signed up for Monday is only around if you also purchase cable tv. Wait, what? Netflix?

  • Ableton and Internets

    Should be tomorrow that the Ableton Push finally arrives. Customs delays and postal delivery delays have kept me very antsy!

     

    In the mean time upgraded the Internet pipes from 38mbps up and 1mbps down to a 150 up and 10 down.
