“Creep” goes. STUCA pulled up with something genuinely nasty for the trunk and Trap City did what Trap City does, which is push it to a few hundred thousand kids who needed exactly this. The low end is the whole personality of this thing — that warbly sub-bass pattern that won’t sit still, hi-hats doing triplet damage on top. It’s the kind of beat that makes you take corners harder than you needed to. Not reinventing the genre, not trying to. Just a clean, mean trap cut that does its job. Hit play, turn the dial right, don’t think about it.
