Liquid Stranger, Dr. Fresch, Bok Nero - Bass Shake

Three producers with three different approaches to bass music, and “Bass Shake” is the sound of those approaches colliding in the most productive way possible. Liquid Stranger is the anchor here — his production philosophy has always been about making bass music with actual emotional stakes rather than just weight. Dr. Fresch brings a grimier, club-ready edge that keeps things from getting too cerebral. Bok Nero’s contribution is harder to isolate but the track sounds different with all three involved in a way that actually matters to how you hear it. The drop on this thing is significant. “Bass Shake” is not a subtle title and the track fully delivers on what the title promises. WAKAAN ends up with two tracks in this batch and both of them earn their spot. Experimental bass is overrepresented in recent posts but when tracks are this good, it’s worth ignoring the spreadsheet.
