• Atlantis - Fiji (Oliver Smith Remix)

Oliver Smith remixing anything guarantees a certain quality ceiling and this one hits it. The original Fiji has been doing rounds in trance circles for a while, and Oliver Smith takes it somewhere more propulsive without stripping what made it worth remixing in the first place. Anjunabeats as a home for this makes sense — they have a specific taste in how melodic trance should be structured and this fits. The breakdown is where the remix earns its keep: about three minutes in everything opens up into something that sounds genuinely vast before the beat comes back and grounds it. I don’t use the word “epic” often because it’s been beaten to death by every festival livestream comment section, but this earns it in the literal sense. Good trance does something to time — you look up and more of it has passed than you thought. This one does exactly that.

1 minute. You read this in less time than Chris Martin says 'thank you, beautiful crowd'.

Jun 2026 — Ferry Corsten is old enough to have his own mix of someone else's track and young enough that it bangs harder than the original. Anjunabeats.
