Knock2, Sophia Gripari - Hold my hand (sportmode flip)

Knock2’s “Hold my hand” was already one of the most emotionally direct things in the whole festival-trap lane, and sportmode’s flip does the smart thing. It doesn’t try to out-feel the original, it just makes it harder. Sophia Gripari’s vocal stays front and centre, all yearning, and then sportmode drop a bassline underneath it that’s meaner and more four-on-the-floor than Knock2’s version ever went. It’s the rare flip that respects why people loved the source while still having a reason to exist. The transition into the drop at 1:10 is genuinely clever: they hold the vocal a half-beat too long so the bass feels like it’s catching up to it.
