• Goblin's Groove - Ephemeral

Goblin’s Groove. Ephemeral. The names alone got me to click, and the track delivered. This is liquid DnB done properly — rolling Reese bass underneath, warm pads on top, a vocal sample chopped just enough to feel like it means something without actually meaning anything. The break sits in the pocket the whole way through and never reaches for a big switch-up, which is the right call. Liquid is the genre most likely to drift into background music, and this one stays awake. Perfect for the 4am section of the night when the room thins out and the people left actually want to listen.

1 min. About as long as it takes Chris Martin to find a falsetto.
