Gates open at Biddinghuizen this week and the release schedule clearly knows it. Every label with a stake in the weekend dumped its heaviest stuff in the last few days, so right now your feed is about 90% kick drums and a guy screaming about a sacred oath. Here’s what actually clawed its way out of that pile: five fresh drops that’ll go off in the field before the anthem even hits.
1. Adaro & Unresolved - Original Gangsters (Raw and Mean)
Two rawstyle lifers who somehow never made a track together until last week. It’s exactly what “no hypes, no tricks” promises: a kick that sounds like a door getting kicked in, and zero interest in being your festival singalong. Good.
2. Kruelty - I AM YOUR END
This is where the hardcore stage earns its reputation. European raw bolted onto Japanese hardcore, snares coming at you like someone emptied a magazine, sitting right around 160. If you’ve been telling yourself hardstyle is heavy, this will recalibrate the word for you.
3. Rooler & Warface & MC Shocker - LET DA BASS!!
Three names that probably shouldn’t be in a room together made the dumbest, most effective drop of the bunch. MC Shocker yells the title, the kick handles everything else. You will not think a single coherent thought while this plays, and that is the entire point.
4. Sound Rush & Hard Driver - Dream On
The one you’ll feel in your chest instead of your teeth. Euphoric hardstyle that earns its melody instead of slapping one on as an afterthought, the kind of track that turns a field of 50,000 people into one very loud choir. Save it for sundown.
5. DRS - New Era (Uptempo)
For the corner of the festival that decided 150 BPM is for cowards. DRS has been the patron saint of uptempo for years, and “New Era” is the sound of him refusing to slow down to make anyone comfortable. Bring water.
Pack the camelbak, leave the Coldplay playlist at home, and we’ll compare bruises Monday.
