Chemical - Kane (Hex Cougar Remix)

Chemical said volume knob goes one way only. Correct. Hex Cougar got hold of Kane and turned it into the kind of remix that makes the original sound polite. The bass tone is somewhere between a chainsaw and a faulty industrial fan, which is high praise around here. Hex Cougar has been doing this weird, off-grid dubstep thing for years and never quite gets the credit — his stuff sits next to Bleep Bloop and G-Space in that “too weird for the main stage, too good to ignore” zone. The breakdown around the midpoint pulls back just enough to make the second drop feel illegal. Headphones, but not the nice ones.
