Late night energy from Betical. “A Reason” goes straight onto the staring-out-the-window-on-a-train playlist and stays there until somebody yanks the aux. Deep house in the proper sense — a warm bassline you can feel in your chest, pads that take their time, a vocal sample buried in there just enough to feel human without taking over. It’s not built for the peak hour, it’s built for the bit afterwards when the room thins out and the DJ stops trying to impress anyone. That’s a harder pocket to write for, and Betical lives in it comfortably. Lights off, headphones on, let it run.
