Âme dub. Say less. This is the version you wanted. Innervisions has been running this game for almost two decades and Âme are still the reason half of us care about the label — Frank Wiedemann and Kristian Beyer doing the slow, hypnotic, “we’re going to be here for nine minutes and you’re going to like it” thing better than anyone. The dub version of “Tonight” strips out whatever vocal was holding the original back and lets the bassline do the talking. It’s a deep house cut that knows it doesn’t need to peak; it just needs to keep moving. Perfect for the 1am stretch where everyone in the room has stopped pretending they’re going home early.

Âme - Tonight (dub)
1 minute. Shorter than the average Coldplay intro. Mercifully.
