An Angel’s Love has been a trance staple since the late 2000s, one of those Sylvia Tosun vocals anyone who spent time in a trance room can hum on command. Ben Nicky and WUKONG have taken it and dragged it into 2026 with zero sentimentality. The euphoric original is still in there, but now it’s strapped to a harder, faster, more psy-leaning engine. The vocal soars exactly where you remember it soaring, and then the drop hits with a bassline that’s got real aggression to it, built for a festival main stage at midnight rather than a candlelit trance basement. Purists will grumble that it flattens the emotion of the original, and they’ve got half a point, but they’re also not the ones this is for. The rework keeps the melody sacred and rebuilds everything underneath it. There’s a moment right before the last chorus where it strips back to just the vocal and a kick, and the payoff when the full drop returns is enormous. Uplifting trance with its teeth filed to points.
