Peak 2012 Skrillex, when Bangarang was everywhere and dubstep was the genre your mom suddenly had opinions about. This is one of those edits where someone has chopped a Skrillex drop into a church choir setting and it absolutely should not work, except it does, because the contrast between gospel vocals and a sawtooth wob is exactly the kind of dumb idea that the era ran on. The whole OWSLA wave was built on producers willing to put two things in a blender that nobody else thought to combine. Sonny Moore was 24 when this came out and had just swept the Grammys with a bunch of laptop tracks. Put it on, lean into the chaos.
