• This Week on coldplaysucks — March 23-29

188 tracks posted this week. That’s not a typo. Drum and bass absolutely ate — Logistics dropped a full album, Brookes Brothers reminded everyone they still exist, and What So Not decided to make DnB for some reason. It worked. Trance showed up strong at 26 posts and hardstyle kept doing hardstyle things. Let’s get into it.

    Track of the Week

Leftfield feat. John Lydon - Open Up

Johnny Rotten screaming over Leftfield. 1995. Still harder than 99% of what came out this week. The original blurb said it best — you only get to discover this one once. 36 upvotes on r/House because some things are just undeniable. Listen ->

    The Breakdown

Drum and Bass (30 posts) — DnB ate this week and it wasn’t even close. Logistics got a double feature, Wilkinson did liquid right, Clipz proved he’s still a legend, and Keeno brought live strings. If you’re not paying attention to DnB right now I genuinely can’t help you.

Trance (26 posts) — Trance had a whole moment. Armin, Dennis Sheperd, Ferry Corsten collabs — the old guard showed up and the new names held their own.

House / Deep House / Tech House (42 posts combined) — House was house. Toolroom did its thing, Dirtybird stayed weird, and John Summit remixes continued to multiply. Steady week, no complaints.

Hardstyle (17 posts) — TNT & Darren Styles, Rejecta & Devin Wild for the HARDFEST OST, and enough Scantraxx drops to keep the kicks going all week. Standard hardstyle operations.

Dubstep / Bass (14 posts) — Zeds Dead + Subtronics + Tape B was the highlight. An unfair combination and they knew it.

Trap / Wave (18 posts) — Pebbles&TamTam dropped the weirdest thing Trap Nation has posted in a while and I’m here for it.

    Also Banged This Week

    • Logistics - Earthling [Full Album] — 70+ minutes of why liquid DnB is the genre you put on when you need the world to make sense again. Listen ->
    • What So Not & The Upbeats - Wanted — Shouldn’t work. Absolutely does. UKF had no choice. Listen ->
    • Skream - The Line — Skream going back to the dub-heavy minimal weight that made him. Welcome home. Listen ->
    • Brookes Brothers - Close Enough — Could’ve dropped in 2010 and nobody would’ve known. That’s the compliment. Listen ->
    • Keeno, Vibre Strings - Juliet — Live strings over liquid DnB. Unfair. Beautiful. Listen ->

See you next week. Coldplay still sucks.

2 min. Coldplay songs average 4. You're ahead.

    📼 From the vault
    Vluarr - Steppin'
Jul 2026 — The vocal chop in Steppin’ hits like a hiccup on the offbeat and immediately makes the track impossible to sit still through. Vluarr works the bass-house...
