Two guys in nice suits, big smiles, holding up a portrait of a thrilled public while the actual public screams and points directly at them. You have to admire the commitment. They commissioned the painting, framed it, brought it to the event, and held it up with both hands in front of the people it’s supposed to depict. The angry mob is right there. They can see around the frame. Nobody in this image cares. The painting is the press release and the press release is the whole job....
