Thunderbolt Docks: A long way off still?
Read more . . . →I recently purchased a new Mac Mini for use as my desktop computer in the office. One of the appeals was the high-speed Thunderbolt port. iCloud transition extended for mobileme troopers
Read more . . . →If you, like me, were a subscriber to the paid MobileMe service when Apple switched to their free iCloud service you probably already know what I am about to write about. Earlier last week I got an email that said the following: When you moved your MobileMe account to iCloud, we provided you with a complimentary storage upgrade beyond the standard 5GB that comes with an iCloud account to help you with the transition. Originally, this storage upgrade was set to expire on September...

The Aug EP, and new ways to (re)market music within the iTunes Music Store
Read more . . . →This week Apple announces their iOS 6 operating system, which will probably be the OS that's on the iPhone 5. I have been using the OS for a little while now and I noticed an interesting feature in the redesigned iPod app. Basically when you're listening to a song that's part of an album available on the iTunes Music Store a small box appears at the bottom like this: From there you can click the button and you get offered to complete the rest of the album as if you were in the iTunes Store App. This is great news...

new maul album >album title goes here< announced
Read more . . . →The mau5 may not be happy, but he is putting out some new(isn)tunes soon. The canadian electronic music producer will be putting out a new album September 25, 2012. He just recently reconstructed his home studio (pics on his Facebook & blog) so he probably used the newly constructed space to polish up some stuff he's been working on for a while. The new 13 track album will feature an already released track, Failbait (featuring Cypress Hill), and Professional Griefers (featuring Gerard Way), out this week. Exciting to hear the full quality .wav versions off beatport once this drops!

Read more . . . →[caption id="attachment_1506" align="alignleft" width="260"] Detail view of the S4i Reference capsule I am using today[/caption] Over the course of the last two years I have used over a dozen different headphones and earbuds with my iPhone 4 and now with my iPhone 4s. My first set was the included white earbuds by Apple. My first upgraded set was some über-cheap in-ear earbuds from CanadaComputers. The price was right and at $8 I decided to buy 2 pair. A month later I got another three, as my first 2 stopped producing sound out of one side and the connection became weakened...
