Bram Bos is primarily known for iOS music apps — Rozeta, Grooverider, Kosmonaut — and watching that guy make a straight deep house track is genuinely interesting. Never Going Home with Saco has the DNA of someone who thinks about sound design at a more granular level than most producers, and it shows in the texture work. The track has a slight lo-fi quality that feels deliberate rather than lazy. There’s warmth here without any of the manufactured “we’re being warm” feeling that a lot of deep house suffers from. The groove is minimal — just enough to keep things moving forward without announcing itself. If you’re coming to this from the Bram Bos iOS app world you’ll hear familiar sound design choices in a completely different context. If you’re coming from the deep house side you’ll just hear a good track. Either way, it absolutely holds up. Niche but genuinely good.
