The man dropped To The Stars and Silicon Lube and I lost my mind in front of what I called a “lame Ottawa scene.” Fifteen years later Jon Gooch is back with a full album called Felt Sick on Sotto Voce, and “Pyro” is the lead single. Same unhinged energy, same ability to make a synth sound like it’s trying to escape the speakers. Some people disappear. Feed Me just went to the lab.
