deadmau5 has been on this blog since 2010 and it’s been a decade since his last album. Ameonna is the first single from whatever’s coming next and it sounds like he never left — atmospheric, moody, those vintage synths doing what they do. The title means “rain woman” in Japanese folklore. The track sounds exactly like that feels.
