Short film about a cassette tape, told without dialogue, and somehow it captures the entire ritual of making a mixtape for someone better than any essay about it ever has. Ithaca Audio built their whole thing on this kind of stitched-together-from-pop-culture editing — if you’ve seen any of their other supercuts you know the formula. This one trades the maximalism for something quieter. The fact that it’s about a physical object that basically nobody under 25 has ever held just makes it hit harder. Sometimes that’s all you need.
