Music Mondays: Skrillex at Ritual in Ottawa December 2, 2010 2 of 4

Here is some more video from the live Skrillex show at Ritual in Ottawa, December 2 2010. Part 2 of 4, shot on an iPhone 4 which was the best available pocket camera at the time and absolutely not good enough for a dark club. Skrillex was still riding the back half of his Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites era, pre-Grammy run, pre-stadium tours, when seeing him in a small Ottawa venue was a normal Thursday. Ritual was the kind of basement-tier room where the soundsystem was punching well above what the ceiling height suggested. You can hear the bass distorting through the phone mic, which honestly captures the actual experience better than a clean board recording would. Wild to look back at this with 2026 ears.
