Fiducial Midi Controller for Ableton
Read more . . . →Cool Ableton Live triggering system! This is a quick demo of the Fiducial Midi Controller, a tangible controller built using ReacTIVision software with OSCulator to send midi signals to Ableton Live. via gabeshaughnessy: My DJ skills need some work, but you get the idea. One thing you can’t see in this video is the cards are color coded. They match the Ableton Tracks. My ableton live mapping is not very sophisticated. Each clip has a card that triggers it, and you can rotate each card too, effecting something different on each track. The drum track, for example, changes the note duration, or time, when you...

Max/MSP Live Coding
Read more . . . →A realtime performance of creating a Max-patch, starting from zero. This is a lot like the final project in third year computer music at Carleton University. Lady Gaga Monster Ball
Read more . . . →On the Nov. 27 stop in Montreal of her Monster Ball tour, Lady GaGa was joined onstage by opener Kid Cudi. It's somewhat obvious that this collaborative stage performance would occur -- Cudi's "Make Her Say" samples Gaga's piano version of "Poker Face." And it's kind of funny to hear people in the crowd scream, "I knew it! I knew it!" when Gaga jokingly asks "who the fuck is on my stage?" as Cudi's drawl is heard over the speakers.
